Is all the work in the portfolio your own?

Yes. The portfolio displays examples of projects designed by Paul Revell through Revellation Graphic Design.

Why produce your own marketing materials and run the risk of looking amateurish?

Yes, but every project is developed around the individual client, audience and brief. Portfolio examples can help identify a preferred direction without simply copying an existing design.

For projects over £500 I will discuss with you an appropriate deposit and/or payment schedule.

Yes. The portfolio represents only a selection of completed work. I adapt the design approach to suit each organisation, audience, message and existing brand.

Yes. If you contact me with details of what you need, I may be able to share additional relevant examples that are not currently displayed on the website.

Some projects are confidential, commercially sensitive, outdated or unsuitable for public display. The website therefore shows a selected range rather than every project completed.

From this discussion I will establish what I call a 'creative brief'. From there I will begin work on the project by researching ideas and producing mock-ups. The designs are then forwarded onto the client for feedback, and they are asked to approve certain colours and fonts, and a general 'look and feel' before work continues.

If any alterations are required, these are made and the amended visual is resubmitted to the client. This process continues until I receive client approval.

If the client is having printed copies, I will submit a final PDF proof for the customer’s approval before sending to press. Once a job is in production, the job cannot be cancelled.

Yes. I retain project files for at least five years in most cases, so I can often update previous artwork or create additional materials that follow the same design style.
